Overview

We are looking for a Senior Tax Expert for one of our clients in Gothenburg. You will be part of a 14-person Group Tax team organized within Finance, specializing in corporate income tax, VAT, social security charges, and transfer pricing. In this role you will focus on international and Swedish corporate income tax questions while working in a dynamic environment with extensive internal and external contacts including tax authorities worldwide.

What You'll Do

Handle GloBE/Pillar 2 questions Pursue international tax issues towards tax authorities, courts, and other local authorities Lead and administer tax audits and queries Track and report on the status of ongoing tax issues globally Manage administrative obligations regarding international taxation and monitor new legislative initiatives Participate in projects ensuring correct tax handling and setup Act as a sounding board for finance departments, foreign affiliates, and other stakeholders on tax-related questions Train and guide the organization on corporate income tax matters Prepare and review Swedish corporate income tax returns within the group Handle withholding tax reconciliations Handle MDR/DAC 6 reporting Who You Are Must-Have Requirements: University degree in Law or Economics

###Experience### in qualified corporate income tax work for large companies — from a tax consultancy firm, audit firm, Tax Agency, or corporate tax department Knowledge of Tax Accounting Knowledge of transfer pricing Understanding of accounting, financial, and business principles Fluent in spoken and written English (mandatory) Good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint Nice to Have: Swedish language proficiency (meritorious) About Sperton This Position is Sponsored by Sperton Global, a recruitment and consulting company with an international reach.
