A premier multispecialty hospital in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is expanding its Neurology and Neuroscience services and is seeking a highly qualified Consultant / Specialist Neurologist to join its advanced clinical team. This role is centered on delivering comprehensive neurological care across a wide spectrum of disorders involving the brain, spinal cord, and nervous system, within a technologically advanced and patient-focused healthcare environment. The hospital offers access to state-of-the-art neurodiagnostic facilities, including EEG, EMG, advanced neuroimaging, and stroke care pathways, enabling neurologists to practice evidence-based medicine while collaborating with neurosurgeons, intensivists, and rehabilitation specialists. Role Overview

  • Position: Consultant / Specialist Neurologist
  • Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
  • Healthcare Setting: Multispecialty tertiary-care hospital with neuroscience services
  • Experience Required: Minimum 3+ years post specialist or board certification
  • Practice Model: Outpatient neurology clinics, inpatient consultations, and neurodiagnostic services

The successful candidate will be responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of neurological disorders, ensuring high quality care and optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities – Neurology

  • Diagnose and manage neurological disorders, including stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and neuropathies
  • Provide acute management of neurological emergencies, including stroke and seizure disorders
  • Conduct detailed neurological examinations and clinical assessments
  • Interpret and utilise neurodiagnostic tests, including EEG, EMG, nerve conduction studies, and neuroimaging
  • Develop individualised treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic neurological conditions
  • Manage headaches, movement disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, and neuromuscular conditions
  • Collaborate with neurosurgeons, intensivists, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation teams for comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in stroke programs and multidisciplinary case discussions
  • Provide patient education and counselling regarding neurological conditions and long-term care
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical records in compliance with UAE healthcare regulations
  • Participate in clinical audits, research activities, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Ensure adherence to international neurology guidelines and patient safety standards

Qualifications & Board Recognition Applications are welcome from physicians holding recognised specialist qualifications such as:

  • American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology (Neurology)
  • UK CCT / MRCP / FRCP with Neurology training
  • Royal College Certification (Canada)
  • Australian Fellowship (FRACP – Neurology)
  • Arab Board in Neurology
  • DM / DNB / FCPS Neurology or equivalent recognised specialist qualification

Candidates must meet eligibility requirements for DHA / DOH / MOH licensing. Licensing guidance and support will be provided where applicable. Compensation & Benefits
