An exciting opportunity for a Tax Specialist to support tax compliance, reporting, and advisory activities in a major EPC yard project environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage Korean tax compliance and reporting, including CIT, VAT, WHT, and local taxes
Prepare, review, and submit tax filings and ensure timely payments
Provide tax advisory support to finance, HR, and business teams
Analyze tax implications of contracts, operations, and cross-border transactions
Support international tax matters, including withholding tax and tax treaty application
Ensure VAT compliance, reconciliation, and support audits/refunds
Act as the point of contact with tax authorities and external auditors
Maintain tax documentation, policies, and internal controls
Contribute to process improvements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field 3–5 years of relevant tax experience Strong knowledge of Korean tax regulations (CIT, VAT, WHT, Local Tax)
Experience in tax compliance and advisory within South Korea
Familiarity with international taxation and cross-border transactions
Experience in EPC / project / site environment is a plus
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities High level of attention to detail and confidentiality
