Role description

From the employer

About the Role

Single point of contact for a B2B client portfolio spanning law firms, clinics, consultancies, real estate, IT firms, F&B, foreign branches and startups — plus specialist HNWI, QFZP and tax-health-check engagements. You own the relationship end-to-end: coordinating delivery across accounting, tax, back office and payroll, and stepping in the moment something needs to move faster.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

Client relationship & consultative ownership

  • Serve as the named contact for a portfolio spanning multiple industries — from a law firm or clinic to a restaurant group, real estate brokerage or a foreign company's UAE branch, plus specialist engagements (QFZP advisory, tax health checks, HNWI structures)
  • Understand each client's tax and compliance position well enough to explain it in plain terms — without doing the technical work yourself
  • Run regular account reviews and proactively flag risk (an upcoming filing deadline, a VAT refund at risk, a substance gap) before the client raises it
  • Represent Simply Solved's "talk to us about everything" proposition — the client should feel they have one advisor, not different departments

Service coordination & delivery oversight

  • Coordinate across accounting, tax, back office and payroll teams, to keep delivery on schedule
  • Track internal time bookings against client engagements and flag scope or capacity issues early
  • Maintain a documented, auditable trail of client commitments and status

Quality, escalation & retention

  • Own first-line escalation for service issues, coordinate resolution with the relevant technical team, and close the loop with the client in writing
  • Monitor account health — not just "no complaints" — and flag early signs of dissatisfaction or churn risk
  • Spot natural moments to introduce additional services relevant to where the client is (e.g. a QFZP client approaching its next health check)

What We Need

Must-have

  • 3–5 years UAE experience in account management, client services or customer success within a B2B professional-services environment (accounting, tax, audit, legal or similar)
  • Proven ownership of multiple concurrent B2B accounts today
  • Comfortable being the client's escalation point, not just the messenger
  • Strong written follow-up discipline — commitments tracked and closed out in writing

Nice-to-have

  • Working knowledge of UAE corporate tax/VAT concepts (including QFZP status) — enough for a credible client conversation, not to do the technical work
  • Comfortable adapting across very different client types in one day — a law firm partner, a restaurant owner and a foreign HQ exec need a different conversation each
  • Prior exposure to free-zone, professional-services, or HNWI-adjacent client bases

How We'll Know It's Working

  • Client satisfaction (CSAT) and retention rate across the assigned portfolio
  • Response time to client requests — acknowledgment within 24 hours as standard
  • Escalations resolved without recurrence
  • On-time delivery against agreed service commitments

Who Thrives Here

Someone who wants real ownership of client relationships inside a fast-scaling professional-services business — not someone looking for a purely administrative coordination role. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or a related field expected.
