Job Description

  • The purpose of this job is to prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns.

File state and local sales tax returns

Generate supporting reports

Provide internal customer service related to W-9 and exemption certificate completion as well as contract and invoice review

Assist with sales tax audit

Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level

Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • We are seeking applicants with a local presence in Knoxville, TN or the surrounding communities.
  • This position does not support immigration sponsorship. To be considered you must have the legal right to work in United States without additional sponsorship

Bachelor’s degree required

Minimum one year sales and use tax return preparation experience preferred

Specialized Knowledge

Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

Basic accounting experience preferred

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work with minimal supervision

Ability to set priorities, multitask, meet deadlines, and resolve problems with a high sense of urgency
