At Eni, we are looking for an Accountant/Finance Referent & Tax Specialist to

join Versalis International Côte d’Ivoire in Abidjan. You will be responsible

for supporting the company’s administrative, accounting, finance, tax, and

compliance activities, ensuring accurate financial records, regulatory

compliance, and the efficient operation of the office.

Main responsibilities

Administration

  • Manage daily administrative activities and office operations.
  • Maintain company records, contracts, and corporate documentation.
  • Coordinate communications with external advisors, banks, suppliers, and

government authorities.

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and business correspondence.
  • Support management with administrative and organisational tasks.

Accounting & Finance Support

  • Assist in maintaining accurate accounting records.
  • Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Support budgeting and financial reporting activities.
  • Reconcile financial transactions and maintain supporting documentation.

Tax & Compliance

  • Prepare and file tax returns and declarations.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Liaise with external tax advisors and auditors.
  • Analyse changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the company.
  • Maintain accurate tax records and documentation.

Skills and experience required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics,

or a related field.

  • Significant professional experience in accounting, finance, administration,

or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of accounting and taxation principles.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and

PowerPoint.

  • Experience with SAP would be an advantage.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
