We are seeking an experienced **Accounting & Tax Supervisor** to join our Group Finance function.
Reporting directly to the **Group CFO**, you will support the effective management of accounting operations, financial reporting and compliance activities, while coordinating day-to-day priorities within the accounting team and contributing to the continuous improvement of finance processes.
**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements and accounting reports in accordance with IFRS and applicable Greek accounting requirements
- Coordinate and actively participate in monthly, interim and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of financial information
- Review accounting reconciliations and supporting documentation, ensuring completeness and accuracy
- Coordinate day-to-day accounting activities and priorities, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of key finance tasks
- Support tax compliance activities, including VAT, corporate income tax, withholding taxes, myDATA requirements and related reconciliations
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors and other external partners, supporting audits and statutory reporting requirements
- Provide guidance and support to accounting team members on accounting and reporting matters
- Contribute to the improvement and standardisation of accounting processes, controls and reporting practices
- Participate in ERP optimisation, automation initiatives and the integration of newly acquired companies
- Work closely with the Group Finance team and other internal stakeholders to support the effective operation of the Finance function
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in **Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration** or another relevant field
- 4–8 years of professional experience in accounting, financial reporting, audit, preferably within a corporate, Group or multinational environment
- Very good knowledge of IFRS, Greek accounting standards and statutory reporting requirements
- Proven experience with financial closing processes, financial statements and accounting reconciliations
- Previous experience in team coordination, supervision or acting as a senior point of reference within an accounting function
- Good understanding of Greek tax requirements
- Experience with ERP accounting systems and a strong interest in process improvement and automation
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications, particularly Excel
- Experience in working with external auditors, advisors and cross-functional teams
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
