Position Summary: We are looking for an experienced Manager, Tax to join Samsung Research America (SRA) collaborative and innovative tax team and play a critical role in tax compliance, research, planning, and process improvement initiatives. Position Responsibilities: Assist with the preparation and review of federal, state, and local corporate income tax returns, business tax filings, extensions, quarterly estimates, and supporting workpapers – including preparing complex modeling workpapers to support tax positions and forecasts Assist with the quarterly and annual income tax provision process according to ASC 740 Manage tax projects related to income tax filing (R&D tax credit, Sec.
174, Transfer Pricing, FDDEI, etc.)
experience
Masters in Tax or CPA preferred 7+ years of corporate income tax
###experience### at a public accounting firm and/or public multinational company – ideally including exposure to ASC740 provision work Deep expertise in federal, state, and local corporate income taxation with desire to continue learning Ability to communicate complex tax concepts clearly and concisely to tax and non-tax professionals Global company tax affairs
###experience### required High attention to detail with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities Strong leadership and team management
###skills### with a collaborative and team-building approach Exceptional multitasker with initiative, upbeat demeanor, and ability to stay organized and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word; SAP and/or OneSource

Within the base pay range, individual rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education and training.
