The role is based in the Keysight Barcelona Business Center, working closely with Accounting and Tax teams primarily located in India and the United States. The position also provides support to other corporate functions such as Treasury, Legal, Human Resources, and Workplace Services. Reporting to the Country Controller, the successful candidate will join a team composed of the Controller and three Financial Analysts, supporting multiple Keysight entities (mainly Spain and Italy).
Responsibilities
Preparation of statutory financial statements, including annual accounts, management report, and NFRD disclosures. Preparation of audit deliverables and supporting documentation to ensure a smooth audit process. Preparation, filing, and payment of tax returns in compliance with local regulations. Coordination and preparation of mandatory surveys and local reporting (including VAT registers and official accounting books). Ongoing collaboration with statutory auditors and external advisors, including monitoring of budgets, purchase orders, and invoices. Contribution to financial analysis, with a particular focus on entity profitability and results. Support to other finance functions (Tax, Treasury, etc.) to ensure regulatory compliance, accurate accounting treatment, and efficient month-end closing processes (including tasks such as obtaining local bank statements and preparing booking instructions). Collaboration with cross-functional teams on public tenders, external funding, and grant applications. Support during potential tax audits, including preparation of documentation and liaison with local tax authorities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, or tax. Fluency in English, Spanish, and Italian is required; French is a plus. Strong interest in working in multicultural environment with teams located abroad. Excellent communication and analytical skills. Structured, detail-oriented, and well-organized approach to work. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Oracle is a plus.
