###your role### is essential in upholding compliance with tax regulations and optimizing tax processes for employees on international assignments. This position is key in handling the tax consequences of global mobility and facilitating a smooth transition for employees across different countries.

###Job Description### • Review/Sign all types of Japan/US individual income tax returns. • Demonstrate a high level of proficiency of tax technical knowledge. • Manage the engagement team -Set performance measurements and ensure that performance goals, including engagement economics, turnaround time and quality targets are met.

• Identify and lead new services that the service line can perform at the VVN. • Develop, mentor, and supervise team members. • Demonstrate leadership and executive presence.

• Communicate progress and project status to all stakeholders. • Knowledge of the firm policies related to confidentiality and data privacy, client acceptance and engagement letters, tax return preparer guidelines and knowledge-sharing. Adhere to practice protocol and other internal processes consistently Qualification: · Commerce Graduate/Postgraduate, MBA.

· Experience: 15+ years in US Individual Taxation in a recognized firm or Big4. · Should be a signer of Japan or US Individual Income tax returns for a minimum of 18-24 months. · A US CPA or Enrolled Agent would be an added advantage.

· Excellent communication skills.
