Job Description

  • Job Summary Palo Alto Networks is looking for a Senior Tax Analyst to join the
  • team to support US federal corporate income tax compliance and provision
  • processes. The ideal candidate will have US federal corporate income tax
  • experience as well as practical experience in supporting ASC 740 income tax
  • accounting for a US headquartered organization. This role will report to the
  • Senior Manager, Tax Reporting and Compliance and is a key contributor to US tax
  • operations. Key Responsibilities Prepare Federal income tax returns, extensions,
  • and estimated payments using compliance software. Support the quarterly and
  • annual US GAAP foreign tax provision process (ASC740), including the preparation
  • of calculations and supporting workpapers. Monitor changes in tax legislation
  • and proactively communicate relevant updates and their impact to the team.
  • Assist with leveraging technology applications to streamline and automate tax
  • compliance and provision workflows. Collaborate with internal teams to identify
  • and review potential tax risks or notice-related issues, escalating them to tax
  • management as needed. Proactively collaborate and exchange information with
  • other teams to accomplish shared objectives on ad-hoc projects.
  • Qualifications (Additional Job Description)
  • Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related
  • field. Minimum of 5 years of related experience in US federal corporate income
  • tax and ASC 740 income tax accounting. Proficiency with Corptax compliance

software. Proficiency with Onesource Tax Provision (OTP) software. Excellent

oral and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex

information clearly. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a Big 4

accounting firm. CPA or Master's in Taxation. Proficiency with Alteryx and SAP.

Experience leveraging AI/ML and GenAI to automate tax workflows.
