###Position Summary### The Tax Consultant will gain
###experience### and assist team members in providing support to DMA clients through Sales & Use Tax audit defense, reverse audits, and overpayment recovery engagements. In this role, you’ll dive deep into transactional data, identify refund opportunities, perform multi-state tax research, collaborate with taxing authorities, and deliver measurable savings to clients.

###Responsibilities### Assist in review preparation, including data reconciliation to trial balance reports, tax reconciliation and other data analysis Gather essential documentation to support reviews Obtains source documentation from clients’ system Review client documents relating to sales/use taxes including invoices, purchase orders, sales/use tax returns and details, sales/use tax audits, etc.

###Qualifications### Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field 1-3 years in the sales tax field with a focus on audits Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
###Experience### researching tax questions and issues preferred Demonstrated problem solving, verbal and written communication
###skills### Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels Valid driver’s license Must be authorized to work in the U. S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
