About the Role
- We are seeking a Senior Consultant to join our growing Indirect Tax team. The
- Indirect Tax practice has established itself as a major player within
- Queensland’s marketplace, advising leading public and private sector
- organisations across a diverse industry base.
- This is a unique opportunity that will allow you to grow your skills in various
- areas of indirect tax like goods and services tax (GST), fuel tax credits, stamp
- duty, land tax and payroll tax. You will be part of a collaborative and
- supportive team that values quality, learning and strong professional
- relationships.
Key responsibilities will include
- Deliver high quality indirect tax advice and support across a variety of
client engagements
- Form and articulate technical positions on complex and emerging indirect tax
matters
- Draft client advice and technical deliverables with minimal review
- Review work prepared by junior team members and support their technical
development
- Build trusted relationships with clients through regular interaction and
meeting participation
- Contribute to a positive, high performing team culture focused on
collaboration and excellence

About You
- Demonstrated experience in indirect tax experience within professional
services, a law firm or government
- Degree in Law or a dual degree with Law and Business/Commerce
- Strong technical capability with confidence applying legislation and guidance
commercially
- A collaborative mindset and interest in supporting the development
of others
