JOB PURPOSE For the expansion of our Finance team, we are looking for a highly motivated Manager Accounting & Tax. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manager Accounting & Tax to lead our finance operations.
This role will oversee all accounting functions, ensure tax compliance, and manage payroll processes with accuracy, efficiency, and integrity. You will play a key role in shaping financial strategy, maintaining compliance, and supporting business growth. You participate in our commitment to building brilliant basics for our young and fast-growing organization and engage good communication and coordination across departments.
In this role, you will report to the CFO Benelux.
###RESPONSIBILITIES### Accounting operations and team : Manage and oversee all accounting operations: general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payments, reconciliations, and month/year-end closing processes. Tax compliance : Prepare necessary tax returns for Netherlands and Belgium to ensure compliance with local, national, and international tax regulations, including VAT, corporate tax, as well as all necessary filings.
Be the Tax Authorities point of contact. Payroll management : Manage payroll process operations, in connection with ADP and our HR Department, ensuring compliance of payroll taxes, accuracy of payroll and reconciliations. Financial reporting : Contribute to the completeness, accuracy and the integrity of the group and statutory financial reporting.
Contribute to audits. Non-Financial reporting : Contribute to the Non-Financial Reporting operations. Lindt Internal Control System : Be the safekeeper of the accounting policies, accounting internal controls.
###SKILLS### & COMPETENCE Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance. Experience: Proven Accounting
###experience### (8+ years) with team management responsibilities. GAAP and IFRS. Tax, Payroll & Standards: knowledge and hands-on
###experience### of tax, VAT and payroll. Leadership & Communication: Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Systems: Proficiency in accounting and payroll software (SAP, ADP); knowledge of S/4HANA is an advantage. Excellence : attention to detail, organization, and excellence in execution as a mindset. Languages: Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
