YOUR OPPORTUNITY

  • The International Tax Manager will manage and update the international tax

calculations of the US income tax provision, with expertise on earnings and

profits, Subpart F, GILTI, BEAT, FDII, foreign tax credits, Pillar II and

cash repatriation

  • Prepare US federal international calculations for the tax return by

gathering, validating and analyzing data from business units, use of existing

International Tax model and analyzing filing requirements

  • Assist with management and preparation of US international compliance in the

federal tax return to ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns in

coordination with the federal tax senior (e.g., maintain compliance tax

reporting calendar for US international)

  • Review of US informational returns for US Multinational entities (5471, 8858,

8865, 1118, and 8900 series) prepared by third party tax advisors to ensure

accurate reporting and compliance with applicable tax laws

  • Support the international tax aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and

divestitures, including due diligence, transaction structuring, modeling of

tax impacts (E&P, FTC, GILTI/Subpart F), and post‑transaction integration

including initial assessment of provision and compliance aspects

  • Assist with analyzing Pillar 2 global minimum tax requirements to ensure

compliance with Pillar 2 rules by monitoring global minimum tax developments,

calculating effective tax rates, and assessing the impact on the company’s

tax position

  • Manage and support international tax controversy matters, including

responding to audits, inquiries, and information requests from global tax

authorities, and coordinating with external advisors to resolve disputes

efficiently

  • Analyze business forecasts to update projections and assess foreign

inclusions

  • Conduct technical research on U.S. international tax laws, regulations, and

legislative developments, and evaluate their impact on the company

  • Support tax planning, modeling, and provision activities through quantitative

analysis and development of tax models

  • Assist the Director of International Tax and Planning in creating, testing,

and documenting internal controls and tax policies

  • Support ad hoc projects assigned by leadership and assist others when needed.
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and efficiency initiatives to enhance

accuracy and streamline US international tax processes

  • Contribute to strategic tax planning initiatives through technical research

and quantitative analyses, including acquisitions, divestitures,

restructurings, and other complex transactions, and prepare technical

memoranda documenting tax positions and conclusions

  • Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory tax developments, communicate

the effects of these developments to management and the tax team and create

strategies to capitalize on changes to taxation legislation.

  • Develop effective working relationships with non-tax counterparts in finance,

legal and treasury.

  • Exhibit project management and self-management, communication and teaming

skills.

  • Demonstrate ownership and accountability for achieving goals and objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or tax. Master’s degree preferred. CPA

required.

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience managing US international

calculations, US federal international related compliance teams, and tax

planning projects with Big 4 accounting firm.

  • Experience with global tax matters.
  • Experience with base level transfer pricing concepts (Principal structure,

Limited Risk Distributor, Contract Manufacturer, etc.).

  • Experience in Data Analytics systems (Alteryx, Tableau, Excel).
  • Experience in ERP and consolidation tools.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
  • Proficient in OneSource suite of products preferred.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects, effectively prioritize and

meet deadlines, and contribute to a culture of excellence, integrity, and

accountability.

  • Strong analytical, verbal and written communication, people, and

organizational skills.

  • Ability to think strategically with excellent analytical, critical thinking,

and problem‐solving skills.

  • Skilled in synthesizing data and distilling key points.

This position will be hybrid with 3 days in N. Bethesda, MD office with the

team.

  • Please Note: The expected salary range for this position can range from
  • $129,250- $160,000; however, final compensation may vary based on experience,
  • skills, and qualifications. This role is also eligible for an annual
  • performance-based bonus.

Pay Range

  • $129,250.00-$150,724.00
