THE PRODUCT(S) YOU WILL WORK ON / THE TEAM YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will join the Accounting Product Team, where you will contribute to defining
and maintaining the roadmap for Pernod Ricard’s global Accounting and Tax
solutions. This includes oversight of applications such as BlackLine, Cegid,
IFRS16, and the invoice reconciliation solution.
You will work closely with Finance teams to ensure that all products accurately
reflect applicable accounting principles and regulatory frameworks. You will
collaborate with Finance and ERP team to guarantee standard GL accounting
processes, including but not limited to, journal entries, account
reconciliations, and financial statement preparation are setup. You will work
hand‑in‑hand with the ERP / SAP S4 HANA team to deepen your expertise in Pernod
Ricard’s internal accounting processes and progressively assume ownership of
these processes. In addition, you will stay informed about evolving accounting
standards to guide the adoption of best‑in‑class practices.
You will also be responsible for products related to tax management and
compliance, ensuring that tax requirements are consistently and effectively
addressed.
WHAT IS EXPECTED OF YOU
The responsibilities involve leading and managing an Agile Squad, overseeing the
development of the product roadmap, and managing backlog prioritization to
ensure the delivery of Business Value.
- Demand Management : Gather new demands to be integrated into the backlog and
translate them into Features.
- Backlog Management : Prioritize Product backlog and manage risks and
interdependencies with other squads. Steer and drive squad delivery,
facilitate day-to-day interactions within the squad.
- Product Lifecycle management : Contribute to product vision definition. Lead
the Product Build by defining and analyzing the Features/user stories and
managing the agile squad delivery. Collect and consolidate Product value
based on Proximity Team and GBPO’s inputs
- Product Catalog Management : Ensure latest version and consistency between
the product & service catalog and the overall product portfolio and
communicate on changes & updates
- Incident Management : Lead L2/L3 incidents investigation, diagnosis and
resolution
- Resource Management : Estimate Resource forecasts, adjust roadmap and
prioritization based on resource availability and report on actual resource
utilization
- Budget Management : Provide Product roadmap and backlog, squad’s resource
needs forecast. Oversee overall funding of my scope, perform variance
analysis and provide justification. Track Product’s ROI and costs

YOUR AREAS OF KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE
- Level of study – Master ‘s degree engineering or business school
- Required years of experience and fields:
- Accounting principles strong knowledge (IFRS, reconciliation processes,
journal entries, …) – 7 years of experience
- Tax management and compliance knowledge
- Product Management & Agile methodology expertise
- SAP Savvy
Languages
- English mandatory
- French appreciated but not mandatory
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
- Strategic thinking & value-driven mindset (roadmap creation, value
monitoring…)
- Expertise in relevant product, with deep understanding of business challenges
in the domain
- Ability to manage in complex environments
- Communication skills, with the ability to talk with both business & technical
stakeholders
- Strong experience in Product management, Product Owner certification
- Strong understanding of agile mindset & practices
- Negotiation/mediation skills
