The Opportunity
- A career within the Tax Advisory Business Unit will provide you with the
- opportunity to be part of a team committed in providing all-around tax support
- including developing optimised tax strategies and structures, in order to assist
- our clients, local and international organisations manage effectively and
- efficiently their tax functions and improve profitability.
- You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of clients
- specialising in various industries and expand existing knowledge when addressing
- tax issues. We will make sure you are provided with ongoing coaching and support
- to continually strengthen your acquired skills and advance your career.
Your Responsibilities
- ■ Manage a portfolio of clients while working with a multidisciplinary team on
- both tax-specific projects and projects with tax components
- ■ Advise clients on the tax implications of their business plans
- ■ Perform tax diagnostic reviews to identify and address uncertain tax positions
- ■ Act as the main contact for clients, fostering and maintaining strong
- relationships
- ■ Lead and mentor a team of junior staff, supporting their development and
- exposure to diverse client engagements
- ■ Contribute to the development and sharing of technical knowledge within the
- team
- ■ Collaborate with Partners and Directors to identify and pursue business growth
- opportunities
- ■ Stay informed about the evolving business landscape and evaluate its impact on
- clients
- ■ Coordinate with other service lines as needed to gather information,
- clarifications, and documentation
What you bring
- ■ Bachelor’s Degree and/or relevant Postgraduate/Professional Qualification in
- Accounting, Tax, Business, Economics or a related field
- ■ A postgraduate degree in Law or the Legal Practice Course (LPC) or the Bar
- Professional Training Course (BPTC) or other relevant professional qualification
- would be considered as an advantage
- ■ 4-6 years of work experience with expertise in advising on Cyprus and
- international tax matters
- ■ Highly motivated individual who can work in a fast paced dynamic environment
- ■ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- ■ Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems in a
- collaborative and creative way
- ■ Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and
- internally
- ■ Confident, articulate and able to communicate in a clear and effective manner
- ■ Strong business acumen with a keen interest in and understanding of Cyprus and
- global business issues
