Job Description
- As a Tax Associate, you will work as a part of a team of professionals helping
- to solve complex business problems from strategy to execution. Your
responsibilities will include
- Preparation of Canadian and/or US personal income tax returns and related
forms/deliverables
- Research and drafting of tax technical memos.
- Interaction with clients to provide advice in relation to tax matters
associated with their international employment.
- Engage with team members to service clients and bring value to their
organization.
- Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to bring order to unstructured
problems.
Preferred Knowledge and Skills
- Exposure to Canadian and/or US individual tax knowledge
- Strong customer service skills and experience in client facing roles.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and verbal and written communication
skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure with a proactive attitude.
- Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple work assignments.
- Experience with MS Excel and/or other tools such as Alteryx
Qualifications
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s Degree
- Fields of Study: Accounting, Taxation, Economics, Business
Administration/Management, International Business
Additional Information
- This is a hybrid role, with an expectation of a minimum of two days/week in
office. Available locations include: Calgary, Toronto, Vancouver
- Compensation range: $60,000 to $85,000 CAD
