About the role: Due to continued growth, our Melbourne Corporate Tax team is seeking an experienced Manager or Senior Manager with a strong focus on Tax Effect Accounting (TEA).

This is a technically engaging role suited to a tax professional who enjoys solving complex problems, managing risk, and delivering high-quality advisory outcomes for a diverse client base. You’ll work closely with Partners and senior leaders, play a key role in reviewing and advising on complex tax matters, and help develop the next generation of tax professionals.

###responsibilities### include: Reviewing income tax returns, tax provisions and taxation consulting work Identifying and addressing tax risks, including interpreting and applying relevant independence rules Drafting management letters in conjunction with Partners, delivering practical and commercially sound advice Supporting clients through transactions, restructures and ongoing advisory needs Coaching and mentoring junior team members and developing future leaders within the team Delivering internal technical training and contributing to the development of new products and services Assisting with business development activities and strengthening long-term client relationships At Senior Manager level, this role also includes greater responsibility for client portfolio ownership, leadership across the team, and contributing to the broader growth of the Corporate Tax practice.

###experience### in TEA-focused tax compliance and advisory roles within a professional services firm or relevant industry environment Strong knowledge of TEA compliance

###requirements### (SME tax knowledge is an advantage, but not essential)

###Experience### reviewing work and providing technical guidance to junior team members Strong client engagement, communication and stakeholder management

###skills### A proactive mindset with an interest in quality, risk management and continuous improvement
