About the Role

  • Do you have experience in providing tax advisory and/or tax compliance services
  • in a professional services environment and are looking for a role where you can
  • make your mark in Corporate/International Tax? Do you have a background and
  • professional qualification in Accounting and/or Law (tax)?
  • BDO has an opportunity available for a Senior Consultant in its Corporate Tax
  • team. Our large and dynamic tax practice operates across Australia and offers
  • access to premium clients and work. You will be part of a collaborative team
  • that takes a holistic approach to tax advisory work, covering all aspects of the
  • Australian and international tax spectrum.
  • You will be involved in providing advisory and/or compliance services to our
  • clients ranging from medium sized clients to household multinational brand
  • names. As a result, you can expect to:
  • work in an inclusive environment as part of a great team;

  • perform tax advisory and tax compliance work; and
  • work closely with Partners and other senior managers across key client

matters.

About you

To be successful you should have the following

  • Around 3-4 years' Australian tax experience gained from working in the tax

practice of a Big 4/mid-tier accounting firm or law firm, or other relevant

corporate background.

  • Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Accounting or Law (Taxation).
  • Solid research, writing and analytical skills with an interest to develop

these further.

  • A collaborative, innovative and inclusive working style.
  • Be open to new ways of thinking, a new approach and not afraid to challenge

the status quo.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A passion for tax!
