Micron's Tax Department coordinates every facet of the company's tax activities

— encompassing corporate income tax compliance and reporting, transfer pricing,

tax planning, tax incentives, indirect taxes, tax controversy, and tax

accounting — across Micron's global operations in the U.S., Singapore, Taiwan,

Japan, India, EMEA, and other important regions.

The Singapore Tax Manager plays a key role within Micron's Global Tax team,

managing all areas of Singapore corporate tax compliance, reporting, and

advisory. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic, multi-jurisdictional

environment and take on an important responsibility in making sure Micron meets

its tax obligations accurately and efficiently.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Tax Compliance & Reporting
  • Prepare and examine Singapore corporate income tax calculations, estimates of

chargeable income (ECI), and annual tax returns for Singapore entities.

  • Manage quarterly and annual tax provision activities, encompassing current

and deferred tax calculations.

  • Ensure timely filing of all Singapore tax obligations and maintain compliance

with the Singapore Income Tax Act and IRAS requirements.

  • Prepare and coordinate responses to IRAS tax audits and queries, including

supporting documentation and technical positions.

  • Manage the compliance workstream for overseas presence on a quarterly and

annual schedule.

  • Support the rollout and ongoing alignment with BEPS Pillar Two requirements

in Singapore.

  • Perform additional tax calculations and reporting under the Qualified

Domestic Minimum Top-up Tax (QDMTT) framework.

  • Prepare and review transfer pricing documentation (local files) for Singapore

entities, making sure it aligns with IRAS transfer pricing guidelines and

OECD standards.

  • Monitor legislative developments to assess impact on Micron's Singapore

entities.

  • Collaborate with the global tax team on GloBE Information Return (GIR)

filings and associated data collection.

  • Manage compliance and reporting duties related to Singapore tax incentives

(e.g., Pioneer, Development & Expansion Incentive).

  • Support S/4 HANA implementation, define requirements for tax reporting

accuracy.

  • Provide tax advisory support on ad-hoc projects and business initiatives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related field, or

equivalent experience.

  • Professional qualifications preferred (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 6–8 years of relevant corporate tax experience, ideally with a

combination of Big 4 / professional services and in-house multinational

experience.

  • Strong knowledge of Singapore corporate tax law, IRAS administrative

procedures, and tax incentive frameworks.

  • Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling, tax computations, and data

analysis.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to

simplify complex tax matters for diverse audience.

  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines in a fast-paced

environment.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as

collaboratively within a distributed team.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Hands-on experience in transfer pricing documentation, benchmarking, and

APA/MAP procedures.

  • Familiarity with OECD BEPS Pillar Two / GloBE rules and their practical

implementation is highly advantageous.

  • Experience with cross-border tax compliance is preferred.
  • Proficiency in SAP (or similar ERP systems) for tax data extraction and

reporting.

  • Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role‑appropriate AI literacy to

use AI‑enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content

creation, problem‑solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomes.
