C. H. Robinson is hiring a Tax Manager to join our team.

In this individual contributor role, you will serve as a subject matter expert in tax compliance, accounting, and policy, ensuring tax strategies align with business objectives. You will develop and implement strategies to maintain compliance with local and federal tax laws, ensure all tax obligations and deadlines are met, and support strong financial performance. Working closely with our global finance team, you will help design and execute tax plans that align with business goals while staying attuned to the economic and regulatory environments in the countries where we operate.

Your work will play an important role in compliance, strategic planning, and financial analysis, helping minimize tax liabilities and support the company’s continued growth. This is a hybrid role with three days in the Monterrey, Mexico office.

###responsibilities### of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following: Own and manage all Mexico tax matters, including corporate income tax compliance, filings, and local statutory tax

###requirements### Oversee value added tax compliance, reporting, audits, and refunds Prepare and review the Accounting Standards Codification 740 income tax provision for Mexico operations, including current and deferred tax calculations, documentation, and disclosures Coordinate with external tax advisors to support compliance activities, audits, and technical tax matters Manage and respond to inquiries, audits, and information requests from Mexican tax authorities, including the Servicio de Administración Tributaria (SAT) Monitor changes in Mexican tax legislation, assess impacts to the business, and communicate risks and opportunities to leadership Partner with accounting, finance, legal, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate tax reporting and alignment with business activities Support tax planning initiatives and process improvements that improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and maintain compliance Support transfer pricing activities and intercompany transactions Maintain thorough documentation of tax positions, filings, and correspondence to support audits and internal controls

###QUALIFICATIONS### Required Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university Minimum of 6 years of

###experience### in corporate taxation and/or public accounting, with direct responsibility for Mexico tax matters Preferred Strong working knowledge of: Mexican corporate income tax Value added tax (VAT) and Impuesto al Valor Agregado (IVA) Accounting Standards Codification 740 income tax accounting

###Experience### working with tax authorities and managing tax audits Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines Ability to work effectively in a cross functional, multinational environment Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, taxation, or a related field of study

###Experience### in a multinational or large corporate environment Prior

###experience### coordinating with global tax teams Professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant, local equivalent, or advanced tax education Strong written and verbal communication

###skills### in English and Spanish Ability to motivate and encourage change and achieve positive results in a large, dispersed organization

###Experience### in tax reconciliation projects between local tax accounting and United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

###Experience### with enterprise resource planning systems such as Oracle and data analysis tools

###Experience### implementing standardized processes and technological tools to automate and improve efficiency in the tax function Proficiency in Microsoft Excel CH Robinson is an
