Here’s the Deal
- We are seeking a detail-oriented LAM Corporate Tax Operations Specialist to
- support the preparation, analysis, and compliance of direct tax obligations
- across LATAM. This role is key to ensuring timely filings, maintaining tax
- compliance, supporting audits, and collaborating closely with internal and
- external stakeholders. You’ll contribute to the strengthening of corporate tax
- processes, improve data quality, and help drive continuous improvement within
- the tax function.
Key Responsibilities
- Timely and accurate preparation of corporate income tax, withholding tax, and
freight tax returns.
- Collect, prepare, process, analyze, perform exception checking, and reconcile
data required for direct tax returns, tax payments, group tax reporting, and
statutory tax disclosures.
- Maintain proper evidence and documentation supporting tax filings and
positions.
- Assist in managing the tax function by supporting strategies, practices,
protocols, and identifying planning opportunities.
- Monitor and manage LATAM tax compliance processes across multiple
jurisdictions.
- Compile data and prepare reports, reconciliations, and responses to
information requests from management, tax authorities, and auditors.
- Support operation, monitoring, and reporting of corporate income tax
controls, data quality initiatives, and key performance indicators.
- Ensure effective and proactive communication with internal and external
stakeholders, including Tax Global Process Owner, third‑party advisors, and
upstream process owners such as ATR, statutory reporting, and group
accounting.
- Assist with tax audits, including data preparation, documentation, and
coordination.
- Contribute to setting tax policies, ensuring compliance, and advising
leadership on best practices and emerging tax-related matters.
- Experience working with LAM countries outside Mexico is considered a strong
plus.

Academic Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field.
Years of Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in taxation, compliance, or related financial roles.
Software
- ERP systems (SAP preferred)
