Role description

From the employer

Where Performance Meets Purpose

Iconic golf brands. Commitment to excellence. Colleagues who care. Working at

Acushnet Europe means you bring your background and experience to a company with

a rich history of creating the best products for dedicated golfers around the

world. Your performance has purpose at Acushnet Europe.

Based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, our golf products are recognized globally for

their unmatched quality, made possible by the dedication and pride we put into

everything we do.

We’re seeking an Indirect Tax & E-Invoicing Manager to help shape how we meet

our global tax obligations in an increasingly digital environment. This role

will suit someone with a strong understanding of indirect tax, a pragmatic,

delivery-focused approach, and a desire to continue developing their expertise

in a fast-evolving area. At Acushnet, we take pride in producing work of the

highest standard because we live by the credo: “Autograph your work with

excellence.”

Reporting into the US Global Indirect Tax Team, but based at our office in St

Ives, Cambridgeshire, you’ll oversee VAT compliance across EMEA, ensuring

accurate and timely preparation and review and submission of returns. You’ll own

VAT account reconciliations, safeguard reporting integrity and resolve issues

confidently.

You’ll monitor global VAT developments, translating regulatory change into

practical business solutions. A key focus will be supporting the roll-out and

ongoing management of mandatory e-invoicing and real-time reporting

requirements, working closely with finance and IT teams to embed compliant

solutions within ERP and accounting systems. You don’t need to be an expert in

every aspect from day one – we’ll provide the support, exposure and

opportunities needed to help you build your knowledge and grow in this area.

You’ll also strengthen governance, internal controls and documentation,

embedding compliance into day-to-day processes while supporting automation and

efficiency. As a trusted business partner, you’ll provide clear, practical

guidance on VAT implications relating to new business models, cross-border

activity and supply chain change.

About you

You’ll hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics, along with

a recognised professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.

You’ll bring extensive experience in indirect tax within a multinational

environment, supported by a strong understanding of global VAT compliance

frameworks and emerging e‑invoicing regulations.

Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP DRC and OneSource Tax Determination is

essential.

Equally important is your ability to collaborate across functions and

geographies, communicate complex topics clearly, and approach your work with

care, ownership and attention to detail. You’ll be someone who takes pride in

doing things properly.

Interested?  We would love to hear from you.  Please include a compelling cover

letter in your application explaining why you are the right person for this

role.

Our Commitment to You

At Acushnet Europe we offer a comprehensive and thoughtfully designed benefits

package that supports your life both inside and outside of work. You'll receive

a competitive salary package that reflects your skills, experience, and the

value you bring. Our annual leave increases with tenure, with the added

flexibility to buy or sell holiday - because we believe in the importance of

balance and time to recharge.

We take your wellbeing seriously, with programmes and support for both physical

and mental health. You’ll also have free access to our onsite gym and can enjoy

fresh, affordable meals in our subsidised restaurant.

Looking ahead, we offer a salary sacrifice pension scheme, employee assistance

support, and financial guidance to help you plan for the future. We’re also big

on development, with training, tuition support, and plenty of opportunities to

keep learning and progressing. You’ll have access to an extensive benefits

portal, giving you the flexibility to tailor your benefits to suit you and your

lifestyle. On top of that, you’ll benefit from employee discounts, wellbeing

incentives, and recognition for the work you do.

Like any good partnership, we start with a short “getting to know each other”

phase - our probationary period. Some benefits will be available after

successful completion, as you establish yourself in the role.

Ready to Make an Impact?

Join us at Acushnet Europe and be part of a team that values excellence and
