Who we are looking for

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a strong

background in financial services, custody operations knowledge is a plus. The

ideal candidate will have experience in leading daily business-as-usual (BAU)

activities, documenting processes, and collaborating across teams to drive

operational excellence. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in

Italian is a strong advantage, especially for servicing the Italian client book.

What you will be responsible for

As a Senior Custody Specialist within the Custody and Shared Services team, you

will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth execution of custody daily

operations, maintaining high standards of control, and supporting the Custody

Operations Manager in managing deliverables and mitigating risk.

As an Associate 2, you will

  • Independently manage daily BAU tasks and ensure timely execution.
  • Leading and coordinating daily BAU activities for Associates
  • Managing internal workflow to ensure internal processing and client deadlines

are met

  • Acting as the first point of contact for operational teams to ensure timely

issue resolution

  • Identify and escalate operational issues to appropriate Manager.
  • Drafting and maintaining SOPs, job aids, and process documentation.
  • Assist in reporting and analytics preparation for internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational improvements.
  • Participating in special client or internal projects as required
  • Provide timely and professional responses to all enquiries, resolve errors/

rejections,

  • Strong documentation skills, including SOPs and job aids.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Ability to take ownership and initiatives
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Power BI is a

plus.

  • Office presence: 3 days work from office is a must

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in financial services or custody operations.
  • Prior experience in documentation and operational support.
  • Exposure to Custody Services and asset servicing is a plus

Please Note: This role requires a minimum of 3 days of working from office .

Minimum Salary

  • zł68,004 Annual
  • The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location
  • specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location,
  • the applicable minimum salary may differ.
  • Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work
  • performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence,
  • initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the
  • quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and
  • non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.
  • In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary
  • annual performance-based awards.
