UK Tax Specialist

We are looking for a UK Tax Specialist to join our Christchurch, Dorset team! In this role you will be primarily responsible for preparation of UK corporate income tax returns and assistance with RDEC claims for multiple UK entities. Role also assists in dealing with tax queries by business units and supporting UK tax audits.

The position, which reports to the Senior Tax Director, is under direction by the International Tax Manager who is responsible for UK compliance.

Support annual Research and Development Expenditure Credit (RDEC) and Transfer Pricing reporting process for the UK companies.

Review periodic corporate tax account and VAT account reconciliations and miscellaneous tax compliance. Assist with quarterly and year-end tax accounting for the UK entities for US GAAP purposes. Other Ad Hoc Responsibilities: Prepare Corporate Interest Restriction Return (CIR) and perform interest deductibility calculations.

Research and prepare responses to VAT and other tax queries. Keep up to date on proposed tax legislation by HMRC to assist in measuring impact on the UK Group, its customers and employees. Assist with income tax computations for UK Statutory Reporting Assist in supporting HMRC Income Tax and VAT audits.

We also supply operator controls and advanced motor controllers for hybrid and electric vehicles, such as buses, forklift trucks, pallet stackers, wheelchairs, and rehabilitation chairs.
