###About the role### Be pivotal in the delivery of high-quality employment tax advice by joining PwC as Manager in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland. This is an opportunity to join a specialist team supporting a growing pipeline of client work across employment tax matters, while contributing to the continued development of our Auckland team. You’ll work as part of a team of experienced tax advisors across advisory and compliance projects, including PAYE and FBT reviews, employee share scheme reporting and advisory and partnering with clients to manage recurring employment tax compliance work.
PwC’s role as an Inland Revenue accredited Participating Advisor also creates opportunities to contribute to distinctive employment tax governance and risk reviews. You’ll collaborate across PwC’s national Tax & Legal Services network to deliver integrated solutions for clients, including corporate, private, legal, international, indirect, digital and transactions tax specialists.

###Skills### you will bring or develop in this role Significant, proven tax
###experience### (over 4 years) in a professional environment, including handling complex tax advisory projects
###Experience### in PAYE, FBT, employee share schemes, remuneration, or other workforce-related tax matters is strongly preferred Strong understanding of tax legislation and revenue authority practices, gained in New Zealand or a comparable jurisdiction with similar tax principles Proven leadership
###experience### in managing teams or complex projects
###Experience### in business development and client relationship management International
###experience### when paired with New Zealand tax
