Job Description & Summary

In tax reporting strategy at PwC, you will assist clients in developing tax

reporting strategies and maintaining compliance with tax regulations. In this

field, you will analyse financial data, interpret tax laws, and provide guidance

on tax reporting requirements, aiming to optimise tax positions and minimise

risks for businesses.

Senior Associate - FATCA/CRS - Operational tax team

PwC Luxembourg is hiring a Senior in Operational tax team (m/f/d). What if it

was you?

We are the largest professional services firm in Luxembourg, providing audit,

tax and advisory services to a wide variety of clients. To make it happen, we

count on the expertise of over 3,600 people from more than 90 different

countries, who strive every day to reach excellence and team up to solve

important problems through innovative solutions. We value diverse and singular

career paths, embrace everyone's unique self and encourage our People to fuel

their potential in a work environment that is inclusive, stimulating, and

motivating.

Our Operational Tax department is growing and we are looking for a motivated

professional eager to take on real responsibility in a dynamic and international

environment. As a Senior Associate within our FATCA/CRS dedicated team, you will

be a trusted advisor to financial institutions navigating complex regulatory

landscapes — from private equity and real estate to banking and asset

management.

Your mission

  • Your role sits at the intersection of tax, operations, and compliance.

Concretely, you will

  • Advise and support clients on their FATCA, CRS, QI and DAC6 obligations — from
  • entity classification and investor on-boarding to due diligence and annual
  • reporting. You will be their go-to contact for technical questions, guiding them
  • through regulatory requirements with clarity and confidence.
  • Review and validate a wide range of client documentation — self-certification
  • forms, U.S. withholding certificates, account opening forms, master files, and
  • XML FATCA/CRS reports — ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with
  • applicable legislation.
  • Drive quality and oversight by preparing gap analyses, controls reports and
  • sign-off reports, QI  and DAC6 reports, monitoring regulatory update impacting
  • our clients and consulting and reporting services.
  • Contribute to projects and initiatives that shape how the team operates — from
  • building and refining internal processes and methodologies to exploring how to
  • bring more efficiency and intelligence to compliance work.
  • Collaborate and grow in close cooperation with colleagues across the Operational
  • Tax department and beyond. You will contribute to tailored client solutions,
  • support junior team members, and benefit from a training programme that you can
  • shape according to your own development goals.
  • Let's talk about you

You will thrive in this role if you

  • Hold a Master's degree in Tax, Law, Economics, Business Administration or a

related field;

  • Bring at least 3 years of relevant experience, ideally gained in the

financial services industry;

  • Have solid knowledge of FATCA, CRS and/or QI legislation;
  • Are comfortable working with data — databases, structured reports, and XML

environments;

  • Are a strong communicator who enjoys daily client interactions and can

explain complex topics with clarity;

  • Have a proactive mindset and a genuine interest in process improvement,

project work, and new technologies including AI;

  • Are fluent in English and French — any additional language is a plus.
