Job Description
- The tasks, roles and responsibilities pertaining to the job role of
an Analyst will include the following
- To carry out legal research on various propositions on the legal databases
- To maintain research database on a regular basis
- To provide assistance in drafting of various communications to be made to the
Tribunal
- To provide assistance to the seniors in preparation and representation of the
matters before the Tribunal i.e. preparing factual paper book, preparing
legal paper book, execution of other documents etc.
- To maintain litigation diary on a regular basis
- To assist seniors in preparation of power point presentations for client
meetings, delivering lectures etc.
- Coordinating with the department for regular follow-ups
- Developing good rapport with bench clerks, etc.
- To help seniors in administration of the team
Responsibilties
To qualify for the same an Analyst will need
- To be a Qualified Bachelor in Commerce (B.Com) / Company Secretary (C.S.), Cost
- Accountant (ICWA) / Law Intern with 0-2 year of relevant experience
Other prerequisite skills include
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Good interpersonal and networking skills
- Number crunching ability
- Efficiency in MS office and report writing skills
- Motivated, creative and decisive in approach to problem solving
- Ownership and responsibility of clients/tasks delegated
Mandatory skill sets
- Basic knowledge of Direct tax and Transfer Pricing.
- General awareness about litigation
- Good Excel, presentation and report writing skills
