As Senior Director of Global Planning/Tax Strategy at Ciena, this role shapes the company’s global tax vision and aligns tax strategy with enterprise growth and value creation. This position influences executive decision-making across a complex multinational environment and advances tax as a strategic business partner.

###experience### within a multinational corporation, Big Four firm, or complex global environment

###Experience### leading strategic tax planning, international structuring, and transaction advisory initiatives in multinational organizations Demonstrated application of advising senior leadership on business expansion, mergers and acquisitions, financing structures, and global operational planning Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive strategic initiatives in a global environment

###Experience### building and developing tax teams focused on collaboration, innovation, and business partnership Nice to haves: Education: Master of Science in Taxation (MST), JD, or LLM in Taxation Application of global tax policy trends, international tax reform, and cross-border tax considerations Pay Range: Range US: 207,900. 00 - 290,100. 00 Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business.

Non-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
