Job Summary Summary: The “Tax Analyst” will be based in GBS In charge of managing tax compliance activities, monitor legislative changes relating to the organization, recommend and adopt required changes as necessary relating to domestic, international tax practices.
Responsibilities: 1. Domestic Tax Prepare and review consolidated regional /federal/combined state income tax returns, estimates, extensions, and related disclosures for regional, federal, and state tax purposes. Perform research of deferred tax accounts and current tax provision in accordance with accounting values for the respective regional, federal, and state regulations.
Assist with regional, federal, and state income tax audits. Perform research of balance sheet and income statements for tax differences relating. Conduct research on tax issues and make recommendations.
2. International Tax Hold up in preparation of annual earnings and profits computation for all foreign subsidiaries. Hold up & prepare foreign subsidiary informational returns.
Perform research of deferred tax accounts and current tax provision in accordance accounting values for the respective regional, federal, and state regulations. Conduct tax research as required by the regional, federal, and state laws. 3.
Sales, Use & Property Tax Hold up and provide technical tax assistance and transaction tax research for held up sites for sales, use, property, B&O and GST / local taxes. Develop and implement tax policies and procedures. Provide GST/sales tax and other tax related training to domestic sites.
Aid with tax filings and property tax audits as applicable for regional, federal, and state tax laws. Provide tax subject matter expertise to IT system implementations of changes in IT environment for tax compliance and contribute with sites to incorporate the changes as required. Qualifications: Typically requires a B.
Com / B. C. S / M.
Com / MBA /BBA/ BBM, any other commerce and Accounts Stream degrees. Typically requires 5+ years of related experience. Related professional certification preferred - Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified General Accountant (CGA), or a America Production Inventory Control Society (APICS).
