Industrial Trainee Tax

Responsible for ensuring the execution of corporate tax related operational activities across the region, ensuring compliance with local tax laws and supporting relationships and interactions with tax authorities and external advisors.

###The role### supports on driving operational excellence and supporting the strategic tax objectives through effective process management, governance and cross-functional collaboration. Tax Compliance & Reporting Support all aspects of regional corporate tax compliance, including corporate income tax, withholding taxes, freight taxes and transfer pricing returns. Ensure accurate and timely preparation, review and submission of tax returns and related filings.

Manage supporting workpapers, reconciliations and calculations to back up tax positions.

###requirements### within the region, e. g. CbCR, Pillar II.

Support tax audits, enquiries and resolving tax controversies. Support regional tax accounting requirements. Operational Excellence Support and implement standardized tax processes and controls to ensure consistency, accuracy and efficiency.

Collaborate with finance and other teams to improve processes, risk management and the internal control environment. Maintain and enhance the use of technology solutions to streamline and optimize tax compliance and reporting. Risk Management and Governance •Identify, assess and mitigate regional tax risks.

•Support internal and external audit processes and ensure control compliance where applicable. Strategic Initiatives and Business Support •Monitor tax law changes within country, evaluate business impacts and effectuate, where applicable. •Provide tax advisory and technical guidance to business teams and support cross-border operational planning.
