About the Role

• BDO Brisbane is currently looking for a dynamic Manager join our Corporate &
• International Tax team in Brisbane. In this role, you will work closely with our
• industry leaders, developing your knowledge and skill set in complex compliance
• and consulting tax work.

Key responsibilities

• Undertaking tax due diligence assignments and transactional work

• Researching and drafting complex tax letters of advice

• Liaising with the ATO regarding client matters

• Review of income tax returns and work papers

• Review of tax effect accounting calculations

• Mentor and develop technical skills of graduates and junior staff

• Leading multiple engagements of varying size and complexity, including

overseeing deliverables, work allocations, deadlines, and budgets

About You

• Demonstrated Corporate Tax experience working in the tax practice of a Big 4/

mid-tier accounting firm

• Completed a CA/CPA qualification or Master of Taxation

• Hold a university degree in accounting and/or law (or related disciplines)

• Strong client advisory and communication skills

• Experienced level of tax compliance background, with a passion about

improving your advisory technical expertise and knowledge

• Extensive consulting exposure to a range of clients, ideally including

cross-border structures, financing arrangements and transactions
