About the Role
- BDO Brisbane is currently looking for a dynamic Manager join our Corporate &
- International Tax team in Brisbane. In this role, you will work closely with our
- industry leaders, developing your knowledge and skill set in complex compliance
- and consulting tax work.
Key responsibilities
- Undertaking tax due diligence assignments and transactional work
- Researching and drafting complex tax letters of advice
- Liaising with the ATO regarding client matters
- Review of income tax returns and work papers
- Review of tax effect accounting calculations
- Mentor and develop technical skills of graduates and junior staff
- Leading multiple engagements of varying size and complexity, including
overseeing deliverables, work allocations, deadlines, and budgets
About You
- Demonstrated Corporate Tax experience working in the tax practice of a Big 4/
mid-tier accounting firm
- Completed a CA/CPA qualification or Master of Taxation
- Hold a university degree in accounting and/or law (or related disciplines)
- Strong client advisory and communication skills
- Experienced level of tax compliance background, with a passion about
improving your advisory technical expertise and knowledge
- Extensive consulting exposure to a range of clients, ideally including
cross-border structures, financing arrangements and transactions
