###Your role### At Allens, our business teams are also specialists in their field, using their unique knowledge and expertise to solve critical client and business challenges. You'll be a part of our Finance team, supporting the firm’s partnership and regulatory obligations through high-quality equity accounting, partner compensation, tax, insurance and retirement income processes.

As a Partner Equity, Compensation & Tax Accountant in our Finance team, you will: Calculate and administer partner distributions and partner capital, ensuring payments are made accurately and on time, with clear records maintained across partner profit allocations. Maintain and report on partner metrics, demographics and partner capital, ensuring information is accurate, complete and aligned to firm requirements.

Oversee the annual review of the Partners’ Life & TPD and salary continuance insurance arrangements and assist with claims management relating to these policies. Manage the firm’s retirement income payments by ensuring monthly pension instalments are paid accurately and responding to queries from former partners.

Build strong relationships with domestic, international and former partners, their advisers, and key internal and external stakeholders, while driving process improvements and supporting key Finance projects. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity. At Allens we have a hybrid working structure, typically 60% in the office and 40% from home.

We would be happy to discuss any other flexible working arrangements that best support you. About you You will have: An accounting, commerce or finance degree, with a CA or CPA qualification highly regarded.

###experience### in public practice, with

###experience### in professional services firms or partnerships preferred. A strong understanding of Australian tax, superannuation and accounting systems, with sound accounting and mathematical skills. Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to analyse, reconcile and validate financial data and improve templates, tools and processes.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage with partners, senior executives, advisers and external stakeholders.
