  • As a Senior Consultant in the Transfer Agency (TA) Tax and Tax Transparent Funds
  • (TTF) Hub, you will responsible for managing the TTF hub process of supporting
  • clients and investors from onboarding through the full TTF lifecycle and
  • identifying enhancements to the TTF operating model.
  • You will be responsible for providing comprehensive, in-depth technical
  • guidance, tax compliance, operational support and direction on tax matters
  • within the Transfer Agency business and its impact within the broader Northern
  • Trust business.
  • As an individual contributor within the TA Tax and TTF Hub team, you will also
  • manage the accurate and timely completion of all tax regulatory submissions.

The key responsibilities of the role include

  • Manage the TTF hub process including completion of daily work, timely

turnaround/delivery, procedure adherence, error measurement and mitigation

  • Ensuring that TA Tax and TTF hub partners are supported in their roles and

are effectively managing their daily duties

  • Liaising effectively with internal departments and teams to ensure a positive

client service is achieved

  • Manage the tax reporting process to ensure reports (IUT and FATCA & CRS) are

accurately prepared and submitted in a timely manner

  • Ensure operating procedures are maintained, with the overall objective of

enhancing the client experience to maintain the service quality

  • Respond promptly and appropriately to queries received from clients,

investors and internal teams

  • Escalation point for unresolved issues from other TA teams or internal

departments

  • Work with the team, internal departments and group project teams on any

allocated projects

  • Participating at client meetings, department meetings and induction training

on behalf of the team

  • Work with internal departments to evaluate and implement changes in proposed

new regulations and to ensure that all requirements are met

  • Provide ongoing tax technical guidance and operational support to TA teams
  • Interacting with various internal operational areas to improve processes,

research processing problems and deliver efficiencies

  • Identifying internal team processes for optimisation

Skills/ Experience Required

  • A College or University degree and/or relevant work experience
  • Operational experience in a Transfer Agency, Tax or TTF role is preferred
  • Numerically competent with strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to review and resolve complex issues in a timely manner
  • Attention to detail and solid documentation techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Ability to complete activities and projects with minimal supervision
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines by multi-tasking and prioritising assigned

deliverables

  • Flexible approach towards changing work methods, deadlines, and variable

workloads

  • Organisational skills are needed to prioritize assignments and daily

organisation of work

  • Good team player, self-starter, flexible, with the ability to work under

pressure with minimal supervision
