Job Description & Summary

About the role

  • We are looking for an individual to join our Real Assets & Credit tax team as a
  • real estate tax specialist. Our Deals Tax team works closely with our Deals
  • practice to advise on the tax implications of a variety of deals projects
  • including; Business Recovery Services, Real Assets & Credit  and Mergers and
  • Acquisitions.

Our team advises on a large volume of diverse direct and indirect real estate

transactions both in the UK and across the world . You will gain experience

working with prestigious and interesting clients as we have a wide client base

including sovereign wealth funds, high profile multinationals, private equity

funds, institutions, pension funds and REITs.

What you days will look like

  • Generating and drafting technical content for tax due diligence and tax

structuring reports with support from senior team members and specialists

  • Monitoring and driving cost reporting processes
  • Monitoring and driving risk management processes
  • Building client relationships, getting to know your clients and actively

participate in client calls

  • Managing upwards to keep senior stakeholders aware of progress on delegated

tasks

This role is for you if

  • Must possess a ACA/CTA Qualification (or an international equivalent) or have

equivalent work experience. This includes international candidates who

qualify through experience in their home country.

  • Experience working on corporate tax projects
  • Experience of leading and coaching others
  • Experience in building and leveraging internal and external relationships and

networks

  • Developed communication skills, specifically in negotiating with and

influencing others

  • Experience of handling and delivering multiple projects to meet deadlines
