and no profits to generate for outside owners.

Vanguard Australia has been supporting individual investors, financial advisers,

Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages the end-to-the-end tax compliance process for Funds, Corporate and
Fringe Benefit returns, and Business Activity Statements.
- Performs quarterly corporate tax provisions, and year-end tax provision.
- Maintenance of Vanguard tax risk management and governance policies.
- Partners with Fund Accounting/ Corporate Accounting to streamline and/or
develop new processes.
- Acts as a point of contact for tax-related queries, including putting forward
a recommendation of resolution to the Tax Manager and taking the lead to
resolve internal clients.
- Builds and maintains strong working relationships across Vanguard and
external suppliers to achieve mutually agreeable goals
- Develops and keeps abreast of legislative and regulatory tax developments to
support implementation of applicable changes and tax planning.
Skills
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent of experience and
training.
- Minimum of eight or more years of relevant tax experience
- CA, CTA or CPA qualified.
- Strong knowledge of Corporate Tax and the Funds Management industry
(preferred)
- Advanced in Microsoft Office.
- Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, presentation and
organizational skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
