**About the job:**

As a Mid-Level Accounting/Tax Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of our company. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including liaising with the third-party financial company in Brasil and HQ financial team, managing accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and reconciling financial records. Your attention to detail and strong analytical skills will contribute to the overall success of our finance department.

Responsibilities

  • Perform accounting and tax recording of incoming and outgoing invoices.
  • Ensure proper accounting and tax classification of transactions according to Brazilian legislation.
  • Support the control and calculation of indirect taxes, especially ICMS and PIS/COFINS.
  • Assist with tax configuration and validation within the ERP system.
  • Support the monthly accounting closing process.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax reports and statutory obligations.
  • Provide support during internal and external audits.
  • Collaborate with the global finance team, contributing to process standardization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • Previous experience (even if limited) with invoice booking and tax recording.
  • Basic knowledge of ICMS and PIS/COFINS taxes.
  • Understanding of accounting and tax routines.
  • Intermediate English to communicate with international teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with ERP systems is considered a plus.
