Associate Manager, Virtual Tax

About the Role

The Associate Manager, Virtual Tax leads a team of Virtual Tax Professionals in a fully remote environment, providing day-to-day leadership, coaching, and operational oversight to drive exceptional client experiences, quality tax preparation, productivity, and business results. This role partners closely with District General Managers, cross-functional leaders, and support teams to execute tax preparation strategies, develop and support associates, ensure operational excellence, and drive continuous improvement across virtual tax operations.

Required Qualifications

3+ years of tax preparation experience 2+ years of leadership, coaching, or management experience Strong understanding of individual income tax preparation and IRS regulations Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to lead and motivate employees in a virtual environment Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, and digital collaboration tools Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed. Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan.

Qualifying associates can enroll themselves and/or their eligible dependents in medical and prescription drug coverage; can participate in the H&R Block Retirement Savings Plan (401(k) Plan), the Employee Assistance Program, (virtual) fitness center programs, and the associate discount program; are automatically enrolled in Business Travel Accident Insurance; and receive Associate Tax Prep benefit.

Pay Range $62,800. 00 - $94,200. 00/Yr.
