As an Australian Private Client Services - Senior Associate, you will focus on providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy within our Tax practice. You will help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimize their tax positions. As a Senior Associate, you will build meaningful client connections and learn how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate increasingly complex situations, grow your personal brand, and deepen your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, and to deliver quality.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will review and analyze financial data, prepare and file tax returns, and assist businesses in meeting their tax obligations while minimizing risks of non-compliance. You will use a broad range of tools and methodologies to generate new ideas and solve problems. By interpreting data to inform insights and recommendations, you will develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is changing. This position offers an opportunity to uphold and reinforce professional and technical standards, contributing to the firm's overall business strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing and interpreting complex financial data to support tax compliance and planning
  • Preparing and reviewing tax returns to assist clients in meeting their tax obligations
  • Utilizing analytical thinking to identify opportunities for optimizing tax positions
  • Drafting and filing regulatory submissions to maintain compliance with tax laws
  • Monitoring and analyzing financial trends to provide strategic tax advice
  • Collaborating with clients to develop tailored tax strategies and solutions
  • Applying tax accounting practices to validate compliance with regulations
  • Conducting financial reviews to identify potential tax risks and opportunities
  • Leveraging project management skills to coordinate tax compliance initiatives
  • Embracing change and adapting to evolving tax regulations and client needs

What You Must Have

  • At least a Bachelor's degree in the following field of study: Accounting or Master's in Commerce
  • At least 2 years of experience
  • Oral and written proficiency in English required
