Job Description & Summary

an Associate (Administration), you’ll play a vital role in managing the

day-to-day administration of our Private Business Tax team, coordinating client

communications, maintaining client data, tracking regulatory lodgments and

supporting the client engagement team.

What you’ll do

  • Prioritising competing work whilst communicating with all relevant staff to

manage client expectations

  • General administrative assistance to the Team (phone messages, meeting

bookings, scanning documents, diary management)

  • Provide comprehensive diary and calendar management for partners and senior

team members, including scheduling and coordinating internal and external

meetings across multiple time zones.

  • Prepare, format, and proofread client correspondence, reports, presentations,

and other documents to a professional standard.

  • Assist with the preparation and coordination of client engagement letters,

billing, and expense processing.

  • Support the onboarding of new clients, including conflict checks and client

due diligence documentation.

  • Coordinate client events, team meetings, and internal functions.
  • Manage incoming correspondence, phone calls, and enquiries, exercising

discretion and judgement in prioritising matters.

  • Attending to ATO or other tax regulatory boards lodgments and monitoring

client deadlines and distributing ATO or other tax regulatory boards

correspondence to the relevant engagement team members.

  • Maintain accurate filing systems and ensure documents are stored in line with

firm policies and confidentiality requirements.

  • Provide general administrative support to the wider Business Tax team

as required, including ad hoc project work.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in supporting client teams and performing administrative

duties, ideally in a professional services or accounting environment.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

and deadlines.

  • A proactive, professional, and client-focused approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, PowerPoint,

Outlook).

  • Building strong relationships with clients and colleagues, delivering clear,

professional correspondence where needed.
