Overview
Support, organize and assist in all categories of the Canadian Customs department. Based in Mississauga, ON
Responsibilities
Match advice notifications with arrival notifications daily. Input for electronic clearance of eligible shipments Customs – Paper entries for goods requiring special government clearances (I.e. CITES, wood products, etc.) Preparation and transmittance of B3 documents to Canadian Customs, accounting for the
duties
and taxes on incoming shipments Prepare and submit monthly LVS entry for low value shipments Prepare and submit entries for supplementary payments/drawbacks to Canada Customs, when required Prepare and submit CITES permit applications Research NAFTA guidelines when re-exporting U. S. made goods to the U.

Qualifications
Education: University or college degree/diploma Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) designation Experience: 1-2 Years of
experience
in a similar position. Skills/Abilities: Strong interpersonal and communication
skills
Team-oriented Excellent problem-solving
skills
and an ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Knowledge of SAP and MSR system Good understanding of the Canadian customs process Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal
