As part of our **Manufacturing** team, you’ll help build the world-class, state-of-the-art smart vehicles we're known for. In our plants around the world, we’re constantly developing new technologies and processes to further increase our efficiency. Responsibilities

• Review, map, and document end-to-end customs processes to ensure comprehensive activity capture and mitigate risk of shipment disruptions related to customs compliance.
• Review reports on a regular basis to track shipment status and identify potential risks or deviations.
• Ensure shipments cross within target timeframes, coordinating preventive and corrective actions as needed.
• Identify root cause of shipment holds/delays and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
• Follow up on shipments hold due to customs issues, escalated by the logistics team through to resolution.
• Develop analytic tools.
• Develop performance metrics.
• On-site position, Monday to Friday; remote support may be required during weekends.

Qualifications

• *Bachelor’s degree in international Trade or similar*
• *4+ Years of Experience in the Customs space*
• *Bilingual Spanish/English*
• *Strong understanding of MX customs regulations, international trade laws, and import/export processes*
• *Experience coordinating custom broker and Customs service providers.*
• *Strong analytical and problem-solving skills*
• *Excellent communication and interpersonal skills*
• *Proven capacity to operate effectively in high-pressure situations characterized by shifting priorities and evolving business requirement*
