In this role, you apply your expertise in customs and export control classification to support daily operations and continuous improvement. You act as a trusted partner for internal stakeholders and help translate regulations into practical solutions. You will be part of a global centralized team based in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, with colleagues in Korea and the United States. Your

include: Perform customs and export control classifications of products and technologies Determine the country of origin in line with applicable regulations Handle legal control blocks using systems such as SAP GTS and Oracle GTM Maintain and improve the master classification database Act as the go-to specialist for classification-related questions from internal teams Identify opportunities and provide suggestions to improve processes Education and
experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
experience
in a relevant field 5+ years of
experience
in customs and export control classification
Experience
with product classification, preferably in a technical environment Familiarity with SAP ECC, SAP GTS, or Oracle GTM is preferred Knowledge of United States export control regulations Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience
working in international and multidisciplinary teams

This full service level will be realized by the team in the Netherlands, Korea and the US, in combination with a backup call-center team to cover the out of office hours outside the NL, KR and US business hours. The working hours of the classification specialist will be during regular business hours, but could require incidentally to be standby during the evening or the weekend.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C. F. R.
§ 730, et seq.) Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
