duties
in connection with export and import shipments of materials as needed for operation of plants or distributors globally. Work with outside agencies to coordinate audits, as well as ensure compliance with all regulations and policies. Position Description Assist Allison Transmission’s customs brokers with gathering of accurate data for filing of import entries with US Customs Conduct pre-entry and post-entry audits for all import and export transactions Determine import/export commodity codes (HTS, Schedule B, TARIC, etc.)
to support daily shipping activities Assist in the qualification of Allison Transmission products for preferential treatment under various free trade agreements and other governmental programs (USMCA, AUSFTA, Buy America, etc.)

4+ years of direct import/export
experience
Knowledge of import and export related regulations (19 CFR, AES, etc.)
Experience
with trade programs such as USMCA
Experience
