Role description

From the employer

From Ukraine to Europe: Nova Post Europe is already operating in 16 countries and continues to grow every day. Our team is united by a desire to move forward, achieve results, and build scalable logistics infrastructure across Europe. We are looking for people who want to create more — a large-scale European project born in Ukraine.

We are looking for a Customs Broker who will ensure fast, compliant, and uninterrupted customs clearance processes, and will also build and launch an in-house customs brokerage function in Germany from scratch.

Tasks

**Main Responsibilities**

  • Launch of customs brokerage function in Germany: creation and development of in-house customs operations (in-house brokerage) to support business scaling
  • Customs clearance management for import/export/transit flows (B2C / C2C)
  • Ensuring full regulatory compliance and zero penalties due to errors in classification or documentation
  • Communication with customs authorities and operational issue resolution with customs office in Mainz
  • Process optimization for high-volume parcel flows
  • Daily work with customs systems and internal tools, including troubleshooting technical issues
  • Support of e-commerce logistics operations and uninterrupted customs processing
  • Customs warehouse coordination and prevention of operational backlog
  • Ensuring accuracy of classification, tariff assignment, and documentation.

Requirements

**Key Requirements**

  • Valid and officially recognized Customs Broker certification in Germany (mandatory)
  • 3+ years of experience as a customs declarant / customs broker
  • Strong expertise in e-commerce / parcel logistics (B2C / C2C flows)
  • Deep understanding of EU import, export, and transit procedures
  • Fluent German (mandatory — working level for communication with customs authorities)
  • English – conversational (B2 or higher)
  • Experience working with customs authorities in regulated environments
  • Strong technical skills (customs systems, declaration software, MS Office, fast adaptation to tools)
  • Strong attention to detail and compliance mindset.

Benefits

**What we offer**

  • €5,000 – €5,300 gross/month (~€64,000 gross/year)
  • Opportunity to build customs brokerage function from zero in a fast-growing international company
  • High ownership and autonomy in decision-making
  • Direct impact on EU customs operations development
  • Modern systems and full operational support
  • International team with open communication culture
  • Career growth within a scaling European logistics network.

Everything starts with the first step.
