About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Statutory & Tax Specialist to join our Finance team in Gessate. The successful candidate will support statutory reporting and tax compliance activities for a portfolio of Italian legal entities.

This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain exposure to corporate taxation, statutory reporting, financial compliance, and IFRS reporting within a dynamic international healthcare group.

Key Responsibilities

The Statutory & Tax Specialist will be involved in

  • Assisting with statutory accounting and reporting activities for Italian legal entities;
  • Supporting on the preparation of the reconciliation between statutory accounts (Italian GAAP) and Group reporting packages (IFRS);
  • Supporting the preparation of annual statutory financial statements;
  • Supporting VAT compliance activities, including periodic reconciliations and declarations;

Supporting the management and compliance of withholding taxes on self-employed professionals and consultants; assisting with the preparation of related tax reports and documentation.

Assisting with corporate income tax and local tax compliance processes;

Ensuring proper filing and maintenance of accounting and tax records;

Supporting tax audits and tax authority inspections involving Group companies;

Assisting in international tax activities, including transfer pricing documentation and other tax requirements related to multinational group operations.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications

  • Diploma in Accounting and/or Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field;
  • Understanding of accounting principles and Italian tax regulations;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken;
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills;
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset;
  • Previous experience in accounting, tax, audit, or finance roles is considered a plus.
