Role description
From the employerResponsibilities
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of tax concepts and application of tax
knowledge as it relates to US federal income tax compliance.
- Prepare and review of US personal tax returns, including Forms 1040, and
1040NR.
- Prepare and review international forms, including FinCEN 114, 3520/3520-A,
5471, 8858, 8621, and 8865.
- Research and analyze U.S. tax compliance issues, including, but not limited
to residency status, income sourcing, foreign tax credits and treaty
positions.
- Provide daily guidance, coaching, and technical development to junior tax
team members.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4-6 years of relevant US tax experience.
- Completion of US CPA/EA or working towards completion, preferred.
- Demonstrated skills in the areas of time management, communication,
interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem
solving.
- Results-oriented with a sense of urgency. Quick learner, self-starter and
exudes a “can do” attitude.
- Passion to learn and grow and be an integral part of a high-performing team.
