The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Tax Analyst to join

our Cross-Border/US Tax Group in our Vancouver office.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a tax professional with at least 3+ years of

experience in public practice and a keen interest in U.S. and Canadian

cross-border taxation. You'll work in a dynamic and supportive team, developing

your technical and advisory skills while serving a diverse range of clients.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Senior Tax Analyst, you will

  • Prepare and review complex U.S. and Canadian personal income tax returns for

high-net-worth individuals with cross-border tax obligations

  • Conduct detailed technical research and analysis on U.S., Canadian, and

treaty-based tax issues (e.g., residency determinations, treaty tie-breaker

rules, sourcing rules, FTC optimization)

  • Identify and assess client-specific tax planning opportunities and exposures;

proactively escalate to managers/partners as appropriate

  • Liaise directly with clients, and internal engagement teams
  • Act as primary point of contact for assigned client files, managing

communications, information requests, and project timelines

  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing coaching, feedback, and

technical support

  • Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing (e.g., prepare technical briefs,

update templates, lead training sessions)

  • Support continuous improvement efforts (e.g., process documentation,

automation tools, template refinement)

What You Bring

  • Canadian or US CPA designation (or in final stages of completion) or US

Enrolled Agent

  • Minimum 3–4 years of experience in public practice, with exposure to U.S.

and/or cross-border tax

  • Strong technical knowledge of tax principles, with an eagerness to grow

cross-border expertise

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence in managing client relationships and working in a team-based

environment

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
