Role description
From the employer- Review and finalize tax computations, returns, and advisory papers before client delivery
- Present tax positions, planning options, and audit outcomes directly to clients
- Manage tax audits, appeals, and correspondence with LHDN
- Supervise, train, and develop the tax team
- Identify tax planning opportunities and advisory value-adds for clients
- Ensure the department stays current with changes in tax legislation
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting/Taxation; CTIM or equivalent professional qualification strongly preferred
- Minimum 5 years' relevant tax experience, including supervisory experience
- Strong technical knowledge of Malaysian corporate and personal tax, with audit/appeal handling experience
- Confident presenting to and advising external clients/stakeholders
- Proficient in Mandarin (spoken and written) to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients
- Strong leadership and client relationship management skills
